This project was done specifically to participate in a Dollar Store linky party. The challenge was simple: Use something from the Dollar store for the holidays.
I'd been wanting to copy this ornament for the longest time but didn't have a snowflake so I kept putting it off.
I actually washed the glitter that was on them off because it wasn't going to work for me. Here they are all cleaned up.
Then I sprayed them gold. I marvel at all the spray paint colors I've managed to accumulate. I always wonder why in the world I would have purchased all the colors I have because I rarely remember, but I was happy to have this great gold.
Then I glittered and folded and glued and smiled and ended up with an off-center, but pretty good copycat of the ornament. Thanks for the snowflakes, Dollar Tree!
